Luhansk Veterans Navigator

Project proposal. Not an active project until officially approved and launched.

The project aims to establish an information and referral system for veterans, Defenders of Ukraine and their family members. Participants will receive assistance in identifying the appropriate course of action, preparing the required documents and contacting competent public authorities, local governments and specialised institutions. Particular attention will be paid to veterans and Defenders who are internally displaced persons.

Goal: To provide a clear and accessible pathway to public services, social guarantees, benefits and other forms of support provided by Ukrainian law.

Main areas of work

information support on statuses, certificates, benefits and payments;
help identifying the competent authority or institution;
guidance on housing, social and administrative matters;
help drafting a clear next-steps plan;
referrals to specialised professionals and institutions.

Timeline

Start: will be determined after approval of the implementation plan and formation of the partnership network.

Completion: the project is intended to become an ongoing programme.
