On 25 July 2026 in Kyiv, during the presentation event marking the creation of the NGO “Luhansk Regional Association of Veterans and Defenders of Ukraine”, a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation was signed with LLC “Legal Company Sovetnyk”.
The purpose of the cooperation is to develop the legal support track for veterans, Defenders of Ukraine, their family members, and families of the fallen and missing. It envisages legal awareness-raising, advisory and informational events, help in identifying an appropriate rights-protection pathway, and referral to authorised legal professionals.
The Memorandum is a framework document and sets out the directions of cooperation. Specific activities, timelines, responsible persons and resources will be agreed separately.
For the Association, this is an important step towards building a system of professional legal accompaniment for people who need help in exercising and protecting their lawful rights.
